I’ve been working as a practitioner in the weight loss field for over 10 years.  And in 2015, I started using an 8-week program called Precision Nutrition.  It seems to work.  People are making changes, feeling better, losing weight.  So in today’s video I’d like to share with you why I think it works.

Firstly, it is simple.  The backbone of the program is a 5 Habit Plan. This plan helps clients to know what to eat and to identify appetite cues.  The folks at Precision Nutrition identified these habits based on a tonne of research and experience with over 45,000 clients.

Secondly, a lot of the work is focused on helping clients eliminate limiting factors in their lives.  These are things like a lack of social support or propensity for stress eating – the barriers that are preventing them from reaching their fat loss or muscle gain goals.  

Thirdly, it recognizes the research in the psychology of forming habits. It uses this research to improve the success rate of clients in a measurable, sustainable way.  It’s not a diet, because we know diets don’t work.  It sets the stage to make permanent changes that will last a lifetime.
